They also offer professional placement opportunities, industry projects, and mentoring programs. Flinders University is ranked 43rd in the Asia-Pacific region and 271st in the world as a whole (THE World University Rankings 2020). Flinders University’s Bedford Park campus has modern buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. It also has beautiful views of the coast and is close to major shopping centers, the central business district, and local beaches. Also, a Student Hub and Plaza will be built for $63 million. Starting in 2020, this will make it possible for students, workers, and residents to get to the city in just 22 minutes. The Flinders Village is planned to be a thriving urban center with, among other things, high-tech research facilities, entertainment venues, and shops. As a student at Flinders University, you’ll have the chance to meet and talk with more than 20,000 other Australians.
You’ll also have the chance to study and talk with students from more than 90 different countries, which will give you a truly global view. Our online services are better than they’ve ever been. It’s a great feeling to know that you’ll get the help, encouragement, and resources you need to grow, learn, and have an amazing time at an Australian university. In addition to its high-tech Tonsley campus, the University of Adelaide also has a campus in the heart of Adelaide called Victoria Square. The University’s innovative and entrepreneurial programs are supported by the Flinders New Venture Institute, which is a global leader in entrepreneurship. On the main Bedford Park campus, an award-winning, state-of-the-art student hub encourages interactive learning in a tech-enabled setting.
Flinders University’s programs are reviewed regularly with the help of industry partners to make sure that the latest technological advances are incorporated into all curriculums. This includes new courses, course content, and other investments to help students learn well. Flinders University has research strengths in areas like cultural policy and society, health and medicine (including mental health and human behavior), molecular science and technology, defense and engineering, water and the environment, and water resources management. It does a lot of research and is doing more and more of it. About 90% of its research is world-class or better, according to the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA)[4]. With the goal of making people’s lives and the world a better place, our researchers are working on local, national, and global problems to find solutions that will help everyone. They do this by arguing against ideas in a brave and bold way, taking on new approaches, and pushing the limits of knowledge to find new insights and lessons.
