Orthoclinic is ecstatic to share the news that applications for the Dr. Jonathan Herald Orthopaedic Surgeon University Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 for the 2022-2023 academic year are now being accepted.
This year, students are confronting obstacles that have never been seen before as a direct result of the epidemic. Scholarship Offer:
- The selected applicant will get a cash prize of $5000.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- Graduate students who are currently enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine program at any Australian university and are in Years 3 and 4 of the MD program and have an interest in pursuing a career in orthopaedics are eligible to participate in this program.
- Only students who are Australian nationals or students who hold permanent residency status can participate in this program.

If you are a first-year student at the University of London and you are paying the home fee, you should apply for the Full-time Undergraduate Bursary for the 2022-2023 school year. The purpose of the scholarship is to help incoming freshmen who have shown strong ambition for higher education and a desire to make a positive impact in their communities on their way to achieving their own personal and professional objectives.

- Please include latest academic transcript
- A one page covering letter (max 800w is permitted covering the four criteria below)
- The selection of scholarship awardees will be based on the following criteria: 1. the recipient’s financial need or circumstances
- 2. An interest in pursuing a career in medicine, specifically orthopaedics. 3. The potential to assume a position of leadership.
- 4. Explain how your receipt of this scholarship will help you finish your education.

- The deadline for applications is January 31, 2023.
- In the beginning of March, Dr. Herald and his team will conduct interviews with the finalists.
- On Monday, February 28, 2023, we will announce who the winner is.
- The student who was successful will receive written notification, and the results will be posted online at www.orthoclinic.com.au along with the winner’s announcement.
- There will be no further correspondence between the parties.
