Scholarship details
James W. “Jimmy” Rane founded this scholarship in 2000 with a clear vision to give back to society in any way he could. Over time, more people recognized the positive impact of this vision, leading to significant investments in the foundation.
Understanding the financial struggles that hinder access to education, Jimmy Rane and the Jimmy Rane Foundation took it upon themselves to help students through the Foundation Scholarship. Jimmy Rane’s connection to society and his personal experiences inspired him to create this scholarship opportunity.
Financial constraints are the main barrier to pursuing higher education for many students. That’s why the Jimmy Rane Foundation offers a full-time scholarship. High school seniors, college freshmen, and sophomores who are on track to graduate in spring/summer 2023 are eligible to apply.
The Jimmy Rane Foundation is committed to supporting deserving students through college scholarships and strengthening communities through educational initiatives. Scholarship recipients can receive annual awards ranging from $500 to $5,000.
The foundation was built on a simple but powerful idea: giving back. James W. “Jimmy” Rane established it in 2000 with this guiding principle in mind, and with the support of numerous backers, that idea has been brought to life.
