Students who are interested in earning a degree from SOAS University of London are eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000 if they enroll in one of the university’s degree programs. The following standards will be used to determine scholarship recipients and grant amounts: Academic excellence, demonstrated by a minimum of a 2:1 degree or its international equivalent, and A expression of support that is 500 words long

Scholarship Offer:

  • Students who are interested in earning a degree from SOAS University of London are eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000 if they enroll in one of the university’s degree programs.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • Have submitted your application for a postgraduate taught (on-campus) degree for the month of September (the scholarship selection panel will only be able to award a scholarship to those applicants who have received an offer by 31 May)
  • A student from a country that is considered to be sub-Saharan Africa who is registered as an overseas fee-paying student
  • Candidates from Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt are encouraged to submit their applications for the Middle East and North Africa region. Scholarship
  • At least an upper second-class (2:1) grade from the United Kingdom, or its international equivalent
  • The deadline for notification of successful applicants who have been extended an offer to study at SOAS is the end of July 2023.
  • The terms and conditions that must be satisfied will be detailed in the offer. You should presume that your application was denied if we have not responded to you by the end of July and you have not heard from us.

The purpose of the scholarship is to help incoming freshmen who have shown strong ambition for higher education and a desire to make a positive impact in their communities on their way to achieving their own personal and professional objectives.
