For the Black American who wants to strive for their education and achiever their career goals, bold.org opens its annual STEM Scholarship intended for the undergraduate, graduate, and even secondary school students who will be graduated and be admitted to any chosen university in a STEM program.
STEM Scholarship
As the educational technology industry wants to do more to support an inclusive culture, Black STEM students are encouraged to continue their journey of making an impact in this area.
Black STEM Scholarship students will support major Black STEM students to further their educational and career journey. This scholarship is open to black high school, undergraduate, and graduate students majoring in STEM or planning a STEM major.
The scholarship is to give an opportunity to the Black American who wishes to unlock their potential and be more prepared for the competitive world, the financial assistance can be used towards the student’s educational cost while taking their valuable time to learn and face the financial barriers with the help of the STEM Scholarship.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, the students must meet the following criteria:
- The applicants must be African-American students.
- Be able to admit to an undergraduate degree Major in Stem Program.
- Must demonstrate good academic excellence.
- The applicants must not be an employee or members of the organization, as well as family members of one of the members of the organization.
- Must be able to submit their latest transcript of records with good merit.
Application Process
The application process will not ask for any fees or payments. The students must meet the eligibility before continuing to the application process, after the applicants meet the eligibility of the scholarship the application form can be accessed on the provider’s online portal and must be able to meet all the requirements and terms and conditions of the scholarship.
All incomplete and inaccurate applications will not be considered. Bold.org has the right to disqualify the applicants who will not meet the eligibility process and proceeded to the application without further completion process.
Essay
The interested applicants must be able to submit an essay outlining why they are passionate about the STEM program. The essay must be unique and pointing the topic.
The essay can be submitted along with the application forms and the required documents for eligibility.
Selection Criteria
Accepted scholarship applications will be reviewed by the representative of Bold.org or the scholarship provider and committee to establish the winners of the scholarship. All scholarship decisions, including but not limited to the selection of winners, are final and binding with all respect.
Bold.org reserves the right not to award scholarships if, in its sole discretion, no eligible applications are received.
Scholarship Application Privacy
Bold.org respects every privacy of the students, this is one of their top priorities. All scholarship application information will be protected and no other third party will contact the applicants related to the personal information being submitted at the organization.
Scholarship Notification
The deserving students will be notified using the contact information provided to Bold.org during the application process. Scholarship holders may take an aptitude test and must comply with these official scholarship rules at all times. Although the information you provide is verifiable, Bold.org is under no obligation to verify the information you provide and you hereby warrant that all provided information in your application and otherwise in connection with the scholarship is correct and completed.
If the award notification is returned as undelivered or the potential winner fails to provide the required evidence within the stipulated timeframe, the scholarship award will be forfeited and may be awarded to other deserving applicants at Bold.org.
Application Verification
Before awarding the scholarship awards, the recipient of the awards is required to submit an enrollment proof of status and a copy of the student’s transcript of records.
Scholarship Awards
Bold.org will be providing an award amounting to up to $5,000 that the students can be used towards their educational expenses.
The organization will distribute the scholarship awards to the student’s accredited university or institution that can be applied towards their tuition fees after submitting the required enrollment proof.
Keep in mind that there will be no amounts of money to be released directly to the scholarship recipient but it will be depending on the university or institution’s requirements. If the university has no financial aid office, the organization will send the funds directly to the student.
Scholarship Important Date
The deadline to submit and complete the application is until March 4, 2022. The final decision of the scholarship will be until April 5, 2022.
Scholarship General Terms
By accepting the scholarship award, the awardee must agree to indemnify Bold.org, its employees, agents, representatives, contractors, recipients, advertisers, employees, directors, and all shareholders from and against any and all liabilities, damages, loss, costs, and claims to the scholarship participations.
Bold.org reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or discontinue the scholarship at any time for any reason, with or without further notice. Bold.org is not affiliated with any academic institution or university or sponsored.
