Taylor Telecom offers this annual scholarship opportunity to its own service workers who have college-aged children that need an extra funding option to help pay for tuition fees.

Eligibility
- While there is no rule on being a United State citizen for this scholarship opportunity, it does state the student should either live within the Telecom service area.
- Students must have a family member who works with Telecom.
- This is available to high school seniors only.
- There is an age restriction of 17-19 years of age.
- Both male and female students can apply for this scholarship option.
- When it comes to filling out the scholarship application form students will need to present information such as: career plans, university they intend to apply or take programs at, parents information, official transcripts, personal letter of application, two confidential recommendation forms, grade point average, list of honors or awards, potential high school offices held during their senior year, community activities, and a few more extra necessary items.
Requirements
The biggest and necessary requirement that is deemed the utmost essential for this scholarship option is that the student who is applying must have a legal guardian who works and is actively working with Telecom. It does not matter that the legal guardian may not be a sole resident of the United States but can be working with a workers visa.
How to Apply
First off scholarship applications are available upon request through the Telecom website or by visiting their offices during regular business times.
This is the only way to securely receive the correct scholarship application. Afterward, students will need to fill out all of the needed information such as name, resident address, age, and current phone number with email address.
A legal guardian must be working at Telecom to be considered a top priority option.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The reward for this scholarship is the amount of $5,000 USD. Which will be distributed out with an equal $2,500 USD per semester. This amount will go to the account of the legal guardian and should be used to help pay off college tuition for the student who is attending.
If this amount is not deposited for tuition based fees, then the application may have to pay a portion back to the company.
Students will go through a waiting period where the recipients will be chosen via the scholarship committee where the board of directors and committee will select a few individuals to win this scholarship. The scholarship judging time frame will happen in April. Names will be announced in the month of May 2023.
Deadline Time Line
The deadline time line is April 1, 2023. There is no extension possibility with this scholarship possibility. Students must work within the given open submission window time frame to ensure that they send in their scholarship application to be considered valid.

Open Submission Window Time Frame
The open submission window time frame begins on January 1, 2023 and will last until the deadline date of April 1, 2023.
This open submission window gives students enough time to send in the needed documents and important personal but necessary information that is needed. Such as proof that a family member works with Telecom by simply submitting a paycheck stub that states the company they work for.
Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship option that cannot be renewed because it is a one time scholarship for students.
