International Students can apply for Alfred State College International Excellence Scholarships, USA 2022-23. The scholarship covers Undergraduate and Graduate-level programs at Alfred State College in the subject of All Subjects. The scholarship has an open deadline.
All overseas students who desire to participate in an undergraduate program at Alfred State are eligible to apply for this award. This $7,000 grant will be considered for students with a minimum 3.25 GPA and appropriate English language skills.

Alfred State College will award $7,000 per year to the students who are chosen for this prize to cover a part of the educational expenses incurred towards their degree studies.
Eligibility for Scholarship
International students who meet two of the following four criteria will be considered for this scholarship:
- a 213 TOEFL exam score (79-80 on the Internet-based exam, 550 on the paper exam),
- a 3.25 college GPA (an overall high school average of 90 or 3.4 may be substituted),
- a 1270 combined reading/writing and math SAT,
- and/or a Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing

– Students can use the SUNY Applications or the Common Application to apply. All qualifying students are automatically considered.
The following documents must be presented to the university by the students:
- A secondary school diploma
- Post-secondary education and experience
- A bank statement that is official
- One letter of academic recommendation
- Passport photocopy
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Scores on the SAT or ACT are optional.
