For students starting their studies, up to 700 scholarships are available. Excellent National and International High School students are automatically included in these scholarships on the basis of their GPA at the time of admission.

Scholarship Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must meet all eligibility requirements:
- Domestic and international high school students are automatically included in these awards based on their GPA upon admission (applicants who have already attended a post-secondary institution are out of the question to support University of Toronto Scholars) .
- If the candidate’s native language is not English, they must provide proof from the English language institution prior to admission, unless they have completed four years of full-time study in an English-language school system in one country. where English is the dominant language.

- No separate application is required; all students are automatically considered when applying to U of T Engineering.
- Applicants must submit complete documentation for all secondary and post-secondary studies.
