Scholarship details
Founded in 1826 in the heart of London, UCL is London’s leading multidisciplinary university, with more than 13,000 staff and 42,000 students from 150 different countries. UCL is a diverse global community of world-class academics, students, industry links, external partners, and alumni. The powerful collective of individuals and institutions work together to explore new possibilities.UCL students are directly involved in research, equipping them for the future and inspiring a lifelong curiosity. The university teaches students how to think, not what to think.
Professor Denys Holland, in whose memory this scholarship was created, took a keen interest in students’ extra-curricular activities as well as in their academic progress. One of his principal concerns was that students entered fully into college life. Please comment on the general interests, along with achievements so far and the aspirations for the future, and state how as a student, would make use of the activities offered by UCL and the Student Union.
