Scholarship details
There is a bright future ahead for those graduates of Albuquerque High School who wants to pursue bachelor’s degree in any engineering-related programs or careers. It could be one of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) majors. This is all thanks to Ms. Rose and Eva that this scholarship fund is established.
Started in 2003, this scholarship continues to give the opportunity to a sole individual, who wants to pursue a degree after graduating high school. There will only be one scholarship slot to be granted each year. This individual should possess a minimum GPA of 3.6 and should also demonstrated a need for financial assistance. This individual should also attend a university or college to pursue a degree with STEM majors. This individual should also submit a personal essay to describe his or her career plan related to the major pursued as well as to demonstrate his or her passion for the chosen career. This is not just given to someone who qualifies for the eligibilities mentioned above but also has a minimum of one reference from an AHS science/math teacher.
The road in obtaining this scholarship is not that easy since a priority will be given to an individual who demonstrated science and/or math skills and interests through ACF/SAT scores and/or strong grades in the appropriate classes while attending Albuquerque High School.
