Scholarship details
The ADB-Japan Scholarship program gives qualified citizens from ADB member country the opportunity to undertake postgraduate studies in science and technology, economics, management, and other development-related fields at the University of Auckland and other participating academic institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Scholarship inclusions
The scholarship covers scholar’s tuition fee, health and medical insurance, basic cost of living, airfare to and from Auckland, and special grant to be used for thesis preparation.
Eligibility
Applicants must;
- Be a citizen of ADB borrowing member
- Have gained admission into an approved academic institution for an approved masters program
- Have a first degree or its equivalent with excellent academic record
- Have, as at the time of application, a full-time professional work experience of at least two years
- Be proficient in written and oral English
- Be under 35 years of age
- Agree to return to home country after the completion of program
Application Instruction
