This scholarship allows participants to follow an 8-month training program to study the German language.
Host Nationality:
The scholarship is hosted in Germany.
Eligible Nationality:
The scholarship program is open to students from Sub-Saharan African countries.
Scholarship Benefits:
The benefits of the AFRIKA KOMMT scholarship program include:
language course
- An individual German course before leaving for Germany
- An intensive three-month German course in Germany, including fees, accommodation, and living allowance
Travel expenses – Flights, Visas, etc.
- Visa for Germany for one year
- Round-trip airfare from your city of origin to Germany and vice versa
- Travel to a refresher course and return
- Program-related travel expenses in Germany
Monthly living allowance during the theoretical phase
- Monthly living allowance of €750, – (August, September and October 2017; July 2018)
- A one-time relocation fee of €1,000,- to re-establish in the countries of origin
- Monthly salary during internships in companies of approx. €1,500, – gross.
