Start a new goal by fulfilling a fully-funded internship in the United States. This ten (10) week research program allows undergraduate and graduate students to undertake high-level training accompanied by highly recognized national and global mentors.
The internship is conducted in conjunction with NOAA’s GSL Research Laboratory at the Colorado Institute. Who can participate?:
Applicants residing in the United States who are pursuing a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree.
Scholarship endowment:
The United States CIRES Funded Internship will award the following prizes to the winning candidates:
- $750 twice-weekly stipend for undergraduate fellows. Also $1,500 for postgraduate students.
- They will promote their skills through learning strategies that allow them to solve social problems.
- You will have the opportunity to conduct research at NOAA‘s Global Systems Laboratory.
Conditions that must be met by participants:
- Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course.
- You must currently be a permanent resident of the United States.
- Be willing to complete this full-time internship program on the established schedule.
- Be interested in carrying out research in the environment and research activities in geosciences.
- Submit a formal registration for the fully-funded internship through the CIRES program entry system.
- The minimum GPA is not required.
