Scholarship details
The Arzuw Foundation offers many programs that allow Turkmen students to find the one that works best for them. The CIEE program has partnered with the Arzuw Foundation to offer scholarships to Turkmen students applying for the Summer Work and Travel Program through a CIEE agency. These scholarships cover the cost of the program fees and insurance fees required for participation in the program. Through this partnership, the foundation is able to significantly expand access to the Work and Travel Program for students from Turkmenistan who want to experience American culture, gain valuable work experience, and improve their English skills.
This collective program which is joined by two foundations has been able to provide the necessary financial needs to students who may have been experiencing financial strain.
Since the Arzuw Foundation was essentially curated by like-minded students, and young Turkmenistan individuals. It does help other Turkmen students to understand how much financial accountability does go into things like travel expenses and insurance coverage. This foundation creation has allowed many students to navigate the college career world without costing them more than they can afford to spend. This foundation has been able to help students work towards a combined goal of completing their undergraduate studies.
Eligibility
- Students will need to show that they do intend to earn higher education and know what university they would like to apply to. This way students will need to show that they are indeed applying for admissions.
- For students that have already enrolled in a Turkmenistan university, they will need to attach their acceptance letter (which can be a photocopy) to ensure that they are in fact enrolled and accepted.
- Must be an undergraduate student when applying.
- Reoccurring students who have won this before may apply but it is not considered renewable, it is considered a new scholarship based on different guidelines.
Requirements
Requirements for this scholarship application is for one to fill out everything correctly in the application form on the original website link. This is the best way to ensure that all of the correct information is provided. If the correct information is not provided, the student’s application will be ignored or dismissed.
Because this is a foundation scholarship, that means the student needs to provide proof and evidence that they do intend to attend a Turkmenistan accredited university.
How to Apply
The only way to apply is by filling out the application form online through the link that is presented within this article. There is no other way to submit an application for this scholarship.
While filling out the application form all student’s need to fill out that they are indeed of Turkmenistan nationality. This is proven by sending in a photocopy of the individual’s birth certificate or record.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The rewards for this scholarship include money to all travel expenses. Other coverages may include insurance fees and all program fees that may pop up around the time the student begins to pay off the student course tuition.
$3,000 is the added up total if students where to receive the travel grant, the insurance coverage and excess tuition/program fee coverage.
Deadline Time Line
The webpage hasn’t been updated in a while, but this scholarship is still active. The official end date is March 15, 2023. Students should send in all of the appropriate paperwork and school document’s to show that they are a student or will become a student to a Turkmenistan university or college.

Open Submission Window Time Frame
The open submission window time frame is before March 15, 2023. As of right now the open submission window is currently open and the foundation is accepting applications from students that fit the eligibility and requirements mentioned above.
If a student does not fulfill their duty by attending the university as a part-time or full-time student they may be required to pay back a percentage of the award amount that was given to them.
Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship for students to apply to as undergraduate students. However, this is not a renewable scholarship.
