Scholarship Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application the students must meet the eligibility criteria of the scholarship
- The University of Western Australia welcomes applications from the eligible selected countries.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the university.
- For undergraduate programs, applicants should have achieved a minimum ATAR of 85.00 or its equivalent.
- For postgraduate programs, applicants should have achieved a minimum WAM (Weighted Average Mark) of 65.00 or its equivalent.
- Students who have completed an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program) should have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00 to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Selected international students whose first language is not an the English language are required to have a good communication skills in oral and written English.
It is important to check the eligibility of each degree for the approved Pathway Courses available for the scholarship.
Application Process
To apply for the University of Western Australia Scholarship for the 2023-24 academic year, there is no need to complete a separate application process. Keep in mind that this scholarship value will be based on the full-time study in 2 semesters per year. Values over 3 years are calculated based on six semesters of study, and values over 4 years are based on eight semesters.
