Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Defence Research and Development Canada and the Canadian Grain Commission are offering Postdoctoral Research Scholarship Programs. Canadians and non-Canadians citizens are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
The Postdoctoral Research Program provides scientists, who have recently obtained a doctoral degree in a field of natural sciences, with the opportunity to work with research groups or leaders in Canadian government laboratories and research institutions located across Canada. In turn, the Government of Canada benefits from new and emerging talent. Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is looking forward to enhance the responsible development and use of Canada’s natural resources and the competitiveness of Canada’s natural resources products with other countries. Scholarships are available to pursue postdoctoral research programme. This programme is awarded in a field of natural sciences.
Canadians and non-canadians are eligible to apply. To be able to secure this scholarship, there are some requirements that must be accomplished. Students must have graduated within the last 3 years with an acceptable doctoral degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field of natural sciences with a specialization related to the duties of the position.
English Language Requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
