The Government of the Czech Republic offers scholarships in collaboration with the country’s Foreign Development Assistance. The scholarship is intended at international studies from developing countries who want to pursue higher education in the Czech Republic.
The scholarship will cover a standard length of study and is bestowed for all types of degrees, including Bachelor, Master or Doctoral study programmes and a one-year preparatory course of the Czech language. Graduates from upper secondary schools are the grantees of the Czerch Republic Scholarships.
In order to enroll, candidates will need to sit an entry examination for the institution of higher education they are applying for. If they want to pursue Master study programmes or Doctoral study programmes, those options are also available to them. Bachelor programmes are also available.
In order to qualify, candidates need to meet several criteria. First of all is eligibility by regions with all nationals from developing third countries eligible. Candidates from countries members of the European Union may not apply.
