Creative writers around the world are again invited to be part of David T. K. Wong Creative Writing Fellowship. This is exclusively offered to writers around the globe to have a chance of studying in UK for a year. This award will enable writer to write fiction stories about the Far East. The award would enrich the inter-cultural perception between the Asia and the West.
David T. K. Wong Creative Writing Fellowship is an annual scholarship award which aims to support published and unpublished writers. The generous annual award is worth 34,636 USD. This scholarship award is hosted annually by University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, England. The writers are chosen by a set of international panel judges which evaluates the applicant’s writing.
The host university is a high caliber university in England. It has world renowned campus and offers world class learning experiences to students. It has received several recognitions for excellence in research and education. The research university has made mark in producing researches that made impact in the world.
The successful applicant to be selected will be a member of the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing. The award would include accommodation at UEA, Norwich. The fellow will have to stay in UK for 9 months. Working space and computer will be also provided. In the time of study, the fellow will be required to submit written work to a mentor and must be part of Creative Writing Research Seminars. The fellow is expected to have fluency in English.
