Scholarship details
The Ed Bradley scholarship offered by the Radio Television Digital News Association is open for undergrad students interested in pursuing careers in radio, television or digital journalism upon graduation. The winning applicant will be the recipient of a $10,000 grant and an invitation to the Excellence in Journalism conference.
In order to apply for the bursary, students need to send in URL links to 3-5 samples of their work, as well as a cover letter in which they discuss current and past journalism experience, describe how they plan to use the money and explain why they chose the field of journalism. Last but not least, applicants have to remember to include their Resume and a letter of recommendation from a professor, adviser or supervisor.
The scholarship administrator, Radio Television Digital News Association, did not mention if students from developing countries are eligible. Hence, students are advised to address this question as well as others to Karen Hansen: [email protected].
Momentarily, the 2017 application period is now closed. The next application window will open in early 2018.
