Scholarship details
Educator.com, a platform that connects students with teachers – whose passion for sharing knowledge goes beyond the offline environment – welcomes students from across the world to partake in the Educator Scholarship competition. Both current college students and rising freshmen are eligible for this scholarship.
Two lucky winners will have the chance to win a scholarship as follows: 1st place will win a $1.000 scholarship while the 2nd place will win a $500 scholarship. The amount will be transferred to their university and will go toward the tuition fees. Educator.com awards also the 3rd, 4th, and 5th places with an annual unlimited subscription to Educator’s 100+ course catalog ($300 value each).
How will the students be selected?
Their academic achievements and essays are two important criteria based on which the selection will be made. However, students must take in consideration another important aspect! Only educational institutions that are partners can apply for this scholarship. Becoming a partner institution is not a hard process to follow. The university administration must contact Educator.com at https://www.educator.com/contact-us/ and inquire a business partnership. Basically, the students who want to apply should inform the university administration that, in return, must contact Educator.com and inquire a business partnership.
Students must submit the following info in their application email:
- Their first + last name
- Their full address
- University name and country
- University administrator name and contact info (including email address and phone number)
- Their major
- Their expected graduation month and year
- Their most recent transcript as an attachment
- 500-1000 word essay on “What is the greatest problem in education today and how would you change it?”
The above details must be sent at [email protected]. The closing date for the application is August 31st, 2018 and the application results announcement will be made on October 1st, 2018.
