Scholarship details
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development established a Scholarship program called The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship this is to attract top international students to enroll in the French higher education in their Master’s and Ph.D. degree.
The scholarship supports to form the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in main concern area of study and inspires the students from developing countries at master’s level, and from developing and technologically advanced countries at Ph.D. level.
All international students are qualified to apply, Master courses involve Engineering Science, Ph.D. in Sciences, economics and management, political science and Law.
Scholarship Value for master’s scholarship includes a 1,392$ US Dollar as a monthly allowance and 1,215$ US Dollar for the maintenance allowance and 177$ US Dollar for a monthly stipend, for about 12-36 months.
For Ph.D. level students a scholarship award amounting up to 1,650 $ US Dollar for a maximum of ten months for the monthly allowance.
Other expenses such as return trips, cultural activities and social security cover may also include, but in certain conditions housing allowance may also be received.
For the non-french speaking student, make sure that your relevant course establishes the language skills requirements.
The deadline for application is before January 2018. This is an annual scholarship. Students must look all the French Higher Education requirements in order to be considered.
