The European Commission is inviting young people from all over the world to this year’s European Development Days (EDD) program. The youth summit will expose the problems plaguing the planet and offer solutions.
Organized by the European Commission, the European Development Days Program annually brings together the development community to present ideas and experiences in a way that provides a solution to current global challenges like climate change and beyond. The event is participatory.
Therefore, the European Commission invites young people from all over the world to participate in the 14th edition of the EDD this year.
17 extraordinary young people between the ages of 21 and 26 will be selected to represent the powerful impact youth are having in the field of sustainable development. In addition, the program will consist of a ten-day visit to Brussels, Belgium, where the young leaders will meet with EU stakeholders and key officials.

About the EDD Youth Program
The theme of the event is based on “The Green Deal for Sustainable Future”. ”The interdependence of humans and nature is at the heart of sustainable development.
Biodiversity and strong ecosystems are crucial for humans. In essence, they support livelihoods, promote food security, and reliable access to water and healthcare, and contribute significantly to the fight against climate change and adaptation.
Therefore, activities aimed at ensuring a sustainable green transition and achieving sustainable development goals are important for maintaining planet earth.
In summary, the agenda of this year’s young leaders forum is marked by two important themes;A green economy for nature and people and the protection of biodiversity and people.
While there may not be a specific amount attached to the youth program, the youth program opens up participants to a greater opportunity to learn more about land maintenance. Interestingly, travel and accommodation for all participants are taken care of by the European Commission.
