Welcome to this excellent scholarship opportunity, prospective candidate. You will be pleased to know that Italy is the country of fashion, right there with France. Now, the Domus Academy is extending a generous offer for Fondazione Gianfranco Ferre Award.
This is a private school in Milan, which specializes in teaching design. Post-graduate and professional courses in fashion are quite valuable.
The deadline is 6 April 2018. Scholarships are available in the Master’s level of study. One scholarship is worth EUR10,000 and this is a rather substantial sum. The Master in Fashion Design is a fetching offer that should not be passed up on by anyone with a fair grasp of the subject.
This scholarship is reserved for EU candidates exclusively, however. As a successful prospective candidate you will also need to have a BA degree. On top of that IELTS 5.0 is an absolute must.
It is worth mentioning that you can take any certificate as long as yours matches what is required from the IELTS one.
In order to qualify, you will need to submit a 300-word abstract. Technical drawings of each outfit you are designing will also be requested. You will also be required to show photos of your model.
It is not an easy admission, but fashion is a highly competitive business.
