The successful applicant will be based in Milan (Italy) and will work alongside experienced researchers on topics related to policy analysis in three main areas of research:
a) business risk mitigation and climate change;
b) social change and business innovation for sustainability;
c) decarbonization pathways and the role of the financial sector.

Scholarship Voucher
The work assignment is expected to begin in October. Gross salary is competitive and will be based on qualifications and experience.

Entry Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
A background in economic policy, environmental policy or environmental economics is preferred, although the selection is also open to candidates with different backgrounds (political science, management).
A Ph.D. in a related subject is not strictly required (although it will be valued positively), but a Master’s or Master’s degree in a field related to environmental economics and policy is required. Studying or working abroad is highly valued. Fluency in English (C1) is compulsory and knowledge of Italian is positively valued.
The ideal candidate has completed postgraduate studies in the field of environmental economics and policy and has demonstrated work experience in the area.
English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are generally required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the highest level required by the University.
