Scholarship details
With the initiative to support bright students who do not have enough resources to pursue a degree, Fontana Transport established the Fontana Transport Inc. Scholars Program. The scholarship amounts to $5000 and will be open to first-generation students off to college, pursuing a degree in Transportation Management, Math, Science, Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Design, Spanish Language/Literature, Psychology, or any Pre-Med degrees.
The applicant must be pursuing a full-time degree in any of the field mentioned above on a 4-year course. In order to be eligible, the student must also be a US citizen and have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.5. The applicant must be a High School senior graduating in Spring or Summer 2018 and be accepted to a university on track to start classes during Fall 2018.
To apply for the scholarship, interested students may contact the scholarship provider or visit the website of Fontana Transport Inc. to look for the details. With the application, a letter of recommendation will also be helpful, although not required. Interested individuals may also contact the scholarship provider to ask questions and inquire about the scholarship. All applications must be submitted before March 14, 2018.
