Scholarship details
The University of Bejaia is the recipient of this incredible scholarship which is being offered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This scholarship offer was created with the benefit of the students in mind. Both Masters and Doctorates students from these select countries of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is part of the emanating option of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, where the project is called “the World in Serbia” for the academic year of 2022-2023.
There is no subject field that is dictated as the primary field for this scholarship. Instead, this is an international student exchange program for students that fit the eligibility criteria. Students from Algerian will be given higher priority status when they apply.

Eligibility
- Students will need to apply by sending in their application form which will completely need to be filled out.
- Students will be asked to sign up for the Le Monde Project to be considered eligible for this scholarship.
- This scholarship is for Master’s or Doctorate students only.
- Certificate of proficiency in English or Serbian.
- Medical certificate that has the most up-to-date information available and dated be less than 6 months from the time the student attends the university.
- All certified copies of the applicants post-school transcripts.
- CV or portfolio will need to be turned in as well.
- Passport that is valid for the entire duration of the student’s stay in Serbia.
- A cover letter is required.
- A student will need a least 1 letter of recommendation when they are applying.
Requirements
Candidates must submit their files to the scholarship service of the Vice Rectorate of External Relations-Aboudaou Campus no later than Sunday, October 09, 2023.
Students do need to have all of their certified copies of all post-school qualification certificates when applying for this scholarship.
How to Apply
When applying students will need to keep in mind this fact:
“This program entitles you only to the scholarship granted by the foreign partner and excludes any possibility of granting an additional scholarship or a plane ticket by the Algerian party.”

This is a full scholarship that covers tuition, accommodation, and health insurance. This is a competitive scholarship that lasts for the duration of a student’s academic year.
Student Visa
A student visa is only needed if the student is from a different country other than Serbia. This way the student will need to present credible and correct information to send to the Embassy of Serbia. Students will need to have their student visa before they arrive in the country.
International students will be able to follow a general guide that can be asked for at the embassy or online through a government website about successfully applying for a student visa without trouble. As of right now, applying at the earliest convenience is important.
Deadline Time Line
The deadline time line is the same as the application admissions deadline. This application will need to be submitted by master’s year students when admissions close. For Doctorate students they will need to submit their application at the same time as well.

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This is an annual scholarship that lasts for the given time frame or how long the research project needs to be conducted. This is not a renewable scholarship research option. There may be option to receive a higher funding percentage depending on the student financial or low income background and current state of living. Students that are having issues with funding can potentially require a higher amount of coverage for this scholarship.
