Scholarship details
The scholarships offered by the Swedish Institute (SI) to foreign students from any part of the world allow them to continue their studies in the master’s area in the fall education period of 2020 – 2021.

Institutions where the studies will be carried out:
Universities and institutions of higher education subscribed to the international scholarship program in Sweden (SI).
Levels and areas of study:
Master’s degrees in all careers offered by universities subscribed to scholarships (SI).
Who can participate ?:
Students from the following Latin American countries are accepted:
Bolivia
Brazil
Colombia
Ecuador
Guatemala
Honduras
Peru
Grant endowment:
The scholarship covers tuition fees, subsistence expenses of SEK 10,000 per month, insurance and a single travel grant of SEK 15,000 (for applicants from abroad). There are no additional grants for family members. The financial aid program is delivered only in the area of full-time masters in the academic period of autumn 2020 – 2021.
Conditions that participants must meet:
To be eligible for economic grant programs, applicants must:
Have more than 3,000 hours of work experience before February 3, 2019, of a maximum of three (3) private institutions or companies.
Coming from an eligible country (above the accepted nations of Latin America were mentioned).
Demonstrate your previous experience as a leader of a project, organization or company.
Previous work experience can be demonstrated by participation in organizations that work together with civil society.
You must be responsible for paying the tuition fees to the universities, cancel the application fee for the master’s programs in university admissions on time before February 1, 2019, and be admitted to one of the eligible master’s programs before 3 April 2020
