Research Grant Council or RGC of Hong Kong is offering a grant for international students who want to pursue their Ph.D. course in Hong Kong’s Universities. The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme or HKPFS goals to attract the best and brightest students in the field of Ph.D.’s, The scholarship award will be given to 230 international students.
International Students may choose in any participating universities in Hong Kong such as:
- City University of Hong Kong
- Hong Kong Baptist University
- Lingnan University
- The Chinese University of Hong Kong
- The Education University of Hong Kong
- The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
- The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
- The University of Hong Kong
Students may refer to the field of studies offered by the given Universities.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship Students must demonstrate academic performance, having an outstanding research potentials, demonstrate their leadership abilities and having an excellent communication and relational skills.
The students will be awarded an annual allowance of 30,000$ US Dollar, Travel allowance related to their research and conference worth 1,300$ US Dollar per year.
