Scholarship details
International students can apply for Bilkent University Scholarships 2022-2023, which are fully financed master’s and PhD scholarships. PhD scholarship recipients will receive a stipend of 600 USD per month, while graduate scholarship holders will receive a stipend of 450 USD per month.

Bilkent University was established in 1984 as Turkey’s first private non-profit higher education institution. It attracts many of Turkey’s brightest students because to its faculty of world-renowned scholars and top-notch amenities throughout its campus. Academic programs, research activities, and social life in Bilkent are all enriched by the worldwide community of scientists and students. More than a quarter of total academic personnel is made up of international teachers and instructors, who represent 40 different nations. The capital city offers a low-cost and quick inner-city transportation infrastructure that includes buses and subways, as well as private mass-transit options. - Housing and stipend (total of 4.400 TL per month)

Single or bunk beds, tables, desk chairs, bookcases or shelves, closets, wastebaskets, and mini-refrigerators are provided in dorms. Free high-speed internet connection is available in all rooms. Self-cook kitchens/kitchenettes, TV/social lounges, study lounges, self-service laundry and ironing rooms, and game and guests’ spaces or rooms are all available in all dorms. Each level has shared baths and facilities, as well as central heating and constant hot water 24 hours a day.
Eligibility for Scholarship
To be eligible for a Bilkent University Scholarship, a candidate must meet all of the following criteria:
- English is a required language. TOEFL IBT (minimum score of 87), IELTS (minimum score of 6.5 overall and 5.5 in each component), or Bilkent COPE (at least C).
- Eligible Countries: Any country in the world.
- At the time of application, BSc graduates or MSC students must have a CGPA of at least 2.80/4.00.
- If you are a Turkish citizen residing in Turkey, you must have an ALES score of 55. (quantitative)
- Otherwise, a 153 on the GRE General Test is required (quantitative). We encourage you to apply if you are off by a small margin and have a good history.
