The Humphrey Fellowship Program offers experienced professionals a chance to hone their skill and expand their qualification in their respective field of work. The Fellowship focuses on teaching about issues of common concern in the United States and the Fellows’ home countries.
Fellows will enroll in one of the partner universities in the United States, however they will not be able to choose the university they will attend. Every fellow will participate in a group of up to 15 people.
As his is a non-degree programme, the Fellowship will offer participants to attend more university courses and various conferences, as well as cut their teeth on practical work experiences. In order to qualify for the programme, candidates need to be interested in one of a variety of fields.
The subjects which are entitled to a scholarship are Law and Human Rights, Economic Development, Planning and Policy, Communications and Journalism, Economic Studies, Finance and Banking, Higher Education Administration, among others.

As part of the Fellowship, successful candidates will be studying free-of-charge, as the Fellowship will cover for their tuition costs. However, grantees would need to have academic-level of English. Along with that their air travel fares will be taken care of.
People applying from overseas need to contact the U.S. Embassy, Public Affairs Section or Fulbright Commission in their respective country. Application deadlines is set for 1 October 2017.
