Scholarship details
A fully-funded scholarship wil be offered by Khazar University in Azerbaijan for the outstanding international women for the academic year of 2022-2023. The Nailekhanim Foundation wants to encourage women all over the globe to further their higher education and demonstrate their academic achievements to be one of the inspirations, motivation, and leaders of our today’s world.
To empower the women of today’s generation, More Scholarship Opportunities for Women are being introduced annually, to give appreciation for their achievements and their desire to further their higher education to be one of the leaders and give contributions to their home countries and communities.
Nailekhanim Foundation
The Nailekhanim Foundation awards the women of the modern generation who can demonstrate their academic merits and pursue their master’s, and Ph.D. degrees at Khazar University. The Naikhanim Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in memory of Nailekhanim Isayeva, the founder of Khazar University and Dunya School. A renowned professor who aims to shape the developments of future leaders and their institutions. The foundation was established to commemorate his love and devotion to education.
The scholarship aims to support and encourage the women with excellent academic excellence all over the world to be admitted to one of the leading universities in Azerbaijan that offers a high-quality education in the English language to be one of the students who will be receiving a fully-funded scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023.
The scholarship will be covering the student’s tuition fee, accommodation, monthly stipend, and round-trip airfare to and from the university.

About the Provider
Khazar University is a private educational institution for higher education, which supports advanced study and research, education policy, and the development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Khazar University has recently undergone transformation and reconstruction processes to compete in the national and international fields of education.
The first private university in Azerbaijan that includes multiple independent schools that unites with the same policy and principles in terms of education or academic that offers a wide range of major courses program in Arts, Engineering and Applied Science, Humanities and Social Science, Business Management and Administration, Economics and Education.
The university also leads to number one in terms of relations with industry and has established effective relations with local and international leading companies. The university’s educational profile includes postgraduate studies including Professional, Ph.D., and master’s programs and the most widespread MBA program in Azerbaijan. The teaching medium for most programs is English.
Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application, interested applicants must check the eligibility and selection criteria of the scholarship.
- Must be an international female students
- Must have a good academic record, academic merit with a minimum A level of 90-92% or 3.7 equivalent GPA and depending on the applicant’s previous institution or academic grading system.
- Can include an academically strong motivational essay at the application in relation to the requirements applied at the application forms, the essay must be outlining about female leadership in 1,500 words.
- Willing to pursue their master’s or Ph.D. degree at Khazar University, must have a passion for their higher education and academic research.
- The international students are required to have good communication skills in oral and written English and must be able to conduct research in the English Language.
Application Process
Interested applicants are required to check the study program of Khazar Univesity, reviewing the list of the academic program can be seen on the official final program page of the university. After choosing the right course for the applicants, they may proceed to the online application portal provided by the university.
The application portal can be downloaded according to the selected courses of the applicants. Students must be able to complete the application according to the application guidelines stated on the downloadable forms.

Submission of Application
Applications should be submitted directly to the Office for International Affairs and should be sent to [email protected] or by post together with the required documents.
If you are sending the entire application package via e-mail, do not forget to display a clear subject ”Your name_Khazar International Admission 2022-2023′ Before sending the application, please check the list of requirements for the selected level of study.
Keep in mind that late and incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to submit and complete the applciation is until June 27, 2022. The scholarship committee wil be reviewing the applicant’s applications, the final decision will be made after the scholarship deadline period.
