Scholarship details
The Turkey Government wants to invite exceptional international students to join the Turkeyi Burslari Scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023. The scholarship will take part to help and support the international students to further their education and will be available to bachelor’s, master and Ph.D. commencing students. Turkey Scholarship wants to consider international students to better achieve their education and future goals without thinking about the financial barrier which most students do consider.
While being admitted to any of the eligible universities in Turkey, the government wants every student to discover the wonder of Turkey and to acquire new skills to help them develop more on their knowledge and skills developments. The application for the scholarship is free and the Government of Turkey will never as a fee to all international students.

Eligibility
- All international students can apply for the scholarship.
- There will be no age limit for all international students who want to further their degrees.
- The students who will be commencing an undergraduate degree program must have 70% marks.
- The bachelor’s and Ph.D. programs must have 75% marks.
- For the medical program, it is required that the students have 90% marks.
- Students who have permanent residency in Turkey and or local students are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- If the international students are already studying in any of the universities in Turkey, will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship program.
- For the final decision, students are advised to submit any of the documents needed if asked.
Application Process
All interested students can access the application online for the Turkish Scholarship offered by the government. Before taking up the application, it is important that you have read all the eligibility criteria to proceed, the instructions should be followed carefully to be accepted on the application process.
International students must make sure to complete the necessary documents needed for the application such as:
- Diploma
- Certificate degree with marks or grades
- High school certificates
- Recommendation letter
- Letter of intent
- English language requirements wil be optional
- Resume
- Statement Purpose
- Research proposal only for the Ph.D. Degree students
- Latest University exam/grades
- Relevant work experience will be optional
- Community services and certifications will be optional
Turkey Scholarship applications are evaluated by committee members and in the first stage, applicants are selected for an interview followed by confirmation. Later, student visa documents to Turkey, university entry letters, and scholarship letters will be sent to successful applicants.
Scholarship Deadline
All applications and documents must be submitted on or before the deadline of the scholarship until February 20, 2022. Incomplete and late submissions will not be considered, students must pay attention to the details and check the terms and conditions for the scholarship program.

Turkey Scholarship is one of the prestigious scholarship programs for all international students, the government aims to support the international students with fully-funded awards to further their education in Turkey. The interview will be done in more or less 30 minutes, students must make sure to point out their career goals.

The airfare ticket will be provided to the students to support the travel expenses going to Turkey and back to their home country. If the students have paid their expenses on their airfare tickets, the government will reimburse their expenses.
The Language course will be provided for one year for the international students who want to learn the Turkish language. The course will help them in understanding the language and sharpen their knowledge.
The successful international students will be notified through their personal email. All applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee based on the academic achievements and documents.
