Fully-funded Scholarship is now open for Rwanda Students being offered by the University of Manchester for the academic year 2018 to 2019. This master’s scholarship is intended for talented students, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The scholarship covers the student’s tuition fees, living expenses, and travel expenses. The successful students will also have the chance to learn in the selected field courses such as Engineering, Law, environmental studies, medical and health science.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a Rwanda nationals with at least 2 years of work experience not unpaid and voluntary experience, undergraduate degree that holds a first or upper second class, haven’t studied in Africa, dedicated to returning home after the program and share and contribute his or her knowledge for the future of Rwanda, having enough idea on the benefits of studying in Manchester for your future career and community.
A shortlisted student will be asked to take an IELTS test. A minimum of 6.5 is required or a TOEFL of 570, after taking up the test the students will now go through the final round of the selection.
The September 2018 applications are now open. The student who is selected for this scholarship will be admitted automatically and can make a choice of their own course. The deadline for the Master’s Scholarship is on the 31st of October.
