About the Scholarship:
The National Student Survey ranks universities based on how satisfied their students are, and the Open University is the only institution to consistently place in the top three. Everyone, regardless of age, money, qualifications, or geographic location, has the opportunity to receive their high-quality education. The Open University (OU) now has more than 16,000 students located in Scotland, and it provides more than 200 different certificates, ranging from undergraduate language courses to MBAs and PhDs. No matter where you are in the world, studying with the Open University gives you the opportunity to advance in your current job or switch careers entirely while continuing to make money. Over seventy different types of taught postgraduate programs are available through the Open University, including master’s degrees, certificates, and diplomas.
You could pursue education leading to credentials such as our Master of Arts in Creative Writing degree, our Master of Science in Engineering degree, or our Master of Business Administration degree, all of which are provided by our business school, which is one of only one hundred business schools in the world to hold triple accreditation. We will bring education to you regardless of where you are located. After the beginning of your module, you will have access to the website for that module around the clock. This website is a comprehensive learning platform that includes learning materials, self-assessed quizzes, information about assignments, as well as access to module forums and online tutorial spaces.
The module tutors will walk you through the exercises and online tutorials that are available as extras on the module forums. If you feel like you need it, your tutor will give you with additional one-on-one instruction or assist you in finding additional study materials to use in your studies. It is the largest academic institution in the United Kingdom (and one of the largest in Europe) by student number, and it qualifies as one of the world’s largest universities because it has more than 175,000 students enrolled.
This includes approximately 34 percent of new undergraduates who are under the age of 25, as well as more than 7,700 students who come from other countries. Since it was first established, more than 2 million individuals have participated in its educational programs. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency that is recognized by both the United States Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education granted accreditation to the Open University, making it one of only two higher education institutions in the United Kingdom to receive accreditation in the United States of America. The European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education provides quality assurance, and the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing and Information Technology program has been recognized by BCS, which is the Chartered Institute for IT (EQANIE).
The Open University was awarded first place in the categories of Teaching Excellence and Digital Innovation at this year’s Guardian University Awards. The Open University had a $2.77 billion influence on the economy of the UK in the 2018–2019 academic year. Additionally, it is responsible for the production of more chief executive officers than any other university in the United Kingdom, including Oxford, Cambridge, University College London, and the London School of Economics.
