Scholarship details
The University of Oxford will now offer Sub-Saharan African students a chance to apply for the Dulverton Scholarships for the 2018/2019 academic intake. The students will be able to pick their own PhD subject of research.
The University of Oxford has a partnership with the Dulverton Trust, which allows it to fund students up to GDP14,553. The sum will be contributed towards tuition fees. A grant to cover living costs is also available.
Awards are handed all throughout the year for the full duration of the agreed course.
A number of countries will be eligible to apply. Those include European countries, both in and outside the European Union and Sub-Saharan Africa countries. The list is quite voluminous and we advise that you refer to the full number of countries in the link provided at the bottom here.
You will be automatically considered for the scholarship if you are applying to start a new graduate course. You will have to submit your application by the January application deadline. However, bear in mind that the Trust offers scholarships every year, so you may benefit from the offer next year in case you have missed the application deadline.
