In the fall of 2005, the Hüsnü M. Ozyein Foundation collaborated with Ozyein University to found the Ozyein University. In addition, a research titled “Developing Sectors and Professions in Turkey and the World” was conducted as part of the groundwork for Ozyein University. ARAMA Consulting got started on the designing process after analyzing the findings of these research. In addition, numerous seminars were developed in order to assist in the formulation of the vision for Ozyein University. There were over 300 people in attendance at these sessions, and they ranged from business professionals and university professors to students and recent grads, all of whom were engaged and made valuable contributions during the course of the program.
Ozyein University was officially established on May 18, 2007, in accordance with the vision that had been collectively shaped for it. The purpose of the university was to serve as a one-of-a-kind institution that would contribute to the growth of society through its contemporary education system, innovative structure that was integrated with life, academic approach that was intertwined with sectors, and academic programs that were tailored accordingly. The initial campus of Ozyein University was located at Cekmekoy, and Altunizade Campus served as the institution’s first location. Cekmekoy Campus opened in September 2011. In addition to a study titled “Developing Sectors and Professions in Turkey and in the World,” the establishment of Ozyein University required the completion of a comprehensive study that included the participation of over 500 individuals, including business professionals, members of the academic community, and students from both universities and high schools. Using the findings of these investigations as a point of departure, the fundamental principles and long-term goals of the university are analyzed, discussed, and honed in on in close collaboration with all of the university’s stakeholders in accordance with the design work done by ARAMA.
