Radboud University in the Netherlands offers Master’s degree opportunities for specific fields of study for all non-EU/EEA Countries including Vietnam students. The Radboud Encouragement Scholarship will be offered to provide fully-funded assistance to deserving international students who can demonstrate their academic excellence and their motivation to fulfill their higher education and career goals.
The fully-funded scholarship will provide a tuition fee and a living cost of €11,220 for the whole duration of their Master’s Degree. Radboud University wants to add to a solid and liberated world with equivalent opportunities for all. The Radboud Encouragement Scholarship is accessible for applicants from non-EU/EEA countries, applying for one of the university’s English Master’s degree programs (except for Erasmus Mundus Master’s programs and joint-degree Master’s programs).

Scholarship Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application, interested students must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be holding a non-EU/EEA passport.
- Not eligible for the lower EEA educational fees for any other reasons.
- Must not be holding any loans or access grants to pursue their studies at Radboud University.
- Must be holding a bachelor’s degree and achieved it outside the Netherlands, no degrees obtain at the Radboud University or any previous educational background in the Netherlands.
- Must have good communication skills in oral and written English, and must meet the English language proficiency of the university.
- Must be fully admitted to an English Master thought class commencing on September 1, 2023.
- Able to read and agreed on the terms and conditions applied to obtain their student visa to the Netherlands.
- Must be admitted full-time at Radboud University for the Master’s degree program in which the scholarship will be awarded.
Selection Criteria

- Relevancy of the previous degree to the master’s degree program
- Outstanding results in their academics, publications, test scores, and results from their previous studies.
- The motivation letter must be one for the master’s degree program and for the scholarship.
- Must be able to show their ambitions, previous achievements, relevancy to the field of study, and performances.
- Volunteering activities and life experiences.
Keep in mind that all students who are applying for the scholarship will be individually considered and evaluated by the scholarship committee. The scholarship committee and the faculty will be selecting the scholars based on their academic qualities and some faculty will be based on interviews and other criteria.

The application can be made through an online portal provided by Radboud University. Applicants may be requested additional materials for the application.
