Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology offers a scholarship opportunity for excellent international students. The Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students is a fully-funded scholarship award that aims to assist young, brilliant, and outstanding students worldwide for the academic year of 2023-2024 to further their higher education in Thailand.
The SIIT Scholarships 2023 are designed to upgrade the industrial advancement of Thailand by drawing on the world’s excellent students in engineering and information technology. The SIIT Thailand scholarship also helps assist students with gaining from the diverse culture of Thailand and furthermore by interfacing with co-students and staff of numerous nationalities. About the Provider

Scholarship Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application process, the applicants must meet the eligibility below:
- Must be international students, the applicants who are a citizen of Thailand is not eligible to apply for the scholarship
- Must be able to demonstrate their academic excellence, preferably one of the top 20 in their class.
- Applicants must be able to meet the qualifications of the university graduate program admission.
- Must be able to submit two strong recommendation letters
- The applicants are expected to be in good health and must possess good conduct.
- Applicants whose recipient of other types of scholarships in Thailand or at the university is not eligible for the awards.
- Must have good communication skills in oral and written English
Application Process
- The application can be completed in an online portal provided by the university.
- The applicants must be able to register and complete the application form including the personal information needed for the application form.
- The required documents must be submitted along with the complete application form must be in the following format: jpeg, pdf, jpg
- The statement purpose must be one page
- Applicants with no English language proficiency certificates can also apply however, the certificate will be needed in the future.

Scholarship Awards
Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology will award 40 successful international students covering the following benefits:
- The full tuition fee at the university is the eligible field.
- Full thesis support fees
- A living allowance for the students will be provided amounting to up to 10,000 Bhat monthly.
- For a round-trip economy class ticket to and from Thailand, the maximum coverage will be up to 20,000 Bhat per student.
- Miscellaneous funds will be granted amounting to up to 10,000 Bhat which will be covering the student’s airport taxes and visa fees.
- Insurance to cover the student’s health and accident.
To maintain the scholarship, the scholars must maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.5. The scholars are also required to make good progress on their thesis and report their progress every semester.
Application Deadline
The deadline to complete and submit the application is until March 15, 2023. The successful applicants will be announced by May 19, 2023.
