Scholarship details
As a way to support the women of the Bay Area, Financial Women of San Francisco or FWSF proudly presents the FWSF scholarship. The scholarship amounts to $10,000 and is open to women in the San Francisco bay area currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the field of finance or financial services. Aside from the financial assistance, the recipients will also have the chance to be mentored by the outstanding members of FWSF to learn more and to get exposed to events.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be a graduating student accepted into an undergraduate or graduate business program in a university in the Bay Area. The applicant will also be required to have at least a 3.4 GPA or any equivalent to it. The applicant must also be enrolled at the main campus or have 80% of the classes at a satellite campus.
To apply for the scholarship, an essay must be submitted with 500 words explaining how meaningful the grant would be in case the applicant does win the scholarship. A resume as well as complete transcript will also be required to be submitted together with the application form and the letters of recommendation.
