They must have applied for full-time, on-campus undergraduate studies at any public Tertiary Education Institution in Mauritius commencing in the 2023 academic year. The scholarship duration is a maximum of four years or the minimum course duration, whichever is shorter.
Qualification Entry Requirements:
Candidates must complete their secondary education to be eligible for this scholarship. Minimum grade requirements include one of the following:
(i) 24 points at GCE A-Level, with grades computed as follows: A+=10, A=9, B=8, C=7, D=6, and E=5; (ii) An overall average of at least 70% or 14/20; (iii) Equivalent criteria to (i) or (ii) above.
In cases where the language of instruction is not English during the qualifying examination, candidates are required to submit a valid TOEFL or IELTS test result, with a minimum score not less than 550 or 5.5, respectively, or provide appropriate proof of English language proficiency.
Candidates who already hold an undergraduate degree are not eligible for this scholarship scheme. Additionally, self-financing candidates who are already pursuing undergraduate studies in Mauritius are not eligible under this scholarship program.
