The Great Britain-China Educational Trust (GBCET) was established in year 1975 having its proceeds from the famous China exhibition at the Royal Academy way back in 1974. With its registry no. 269944 it becomes a legal charity institutions which was under the administration of the Great Britain-China Centre.
This organization aims in helping the Chinese students to study PhD course program at the United Kingdom. In relation to their program advocacy the Great Britain-China Educational Trust (GBCET) is giving out scholarship grant in the PhD level to study the Chinese language in both speaking and writing.
Two awards will be granted by the organization the Chinese Students Awards with £3,000 amount of grants and the Chinese Language Awards with £2,000 each.
Course level are available to those who wanted to gain interest in the study of Chinese language for PhD programme. The scholarship can only be taken at the United Kingdom with a grant amounting to 1,500-£2,000 up to £3,000.
All Chinese students even coming from Honkong are eligible to apply to study Chinese language at the University of UK. Applicants may be allowed to apply for the grants twice but take note that one must wait another year to re-apply. Must likewise enrolled in their third year prior to submission of application.
Scholarship application deadline will be on October 1, 2017, after which a meeting will be conducted in order to decide the successful candidate on November 1, 2017.
