Scholarship details
Late 2007, IHS received an award for the UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour award, leading its way as a global centre of excellence and knowledge through its high-quality teaching programmes in housing, urban management and urban environmental management and planning. The said award is granted every year during World Habitat Day, which established by the United Nations General which provide to raise awareness the state of human settlement.
Erasmus University Rotterdam Scholarship is open to all students outside from the European Economic Area (EEA). It is a new national programme of international students who wants to do their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Holland. Given this opportunity to the students who had trouble affording their financial needs for their tuition fees, the programme suits for the young individual who want to pursue their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be a non-European Economic Area resident.
- Excellent student according to the faculty’s standards.
- Haven’t received of diploma at an education in Netherlands.
Applicants who does not meet the qualifications are not allowed for the programme.
Benefits
Awarded applicants will received the total amount funded of € 5,000 for the tuition fee waiver.
Application
Step 1: Read through the Holland Scholarship leaflet to familiarize with the scholarship conditions
Step 2: Submit an application by email to Ms. Sarah Steendam by 1 February 2018 including the following documents.
- Unconditional Admission letter
- Motivation letter (including intended career path)
- Proof of excellence during Bachelor (Certified copy of Bachelor Degree including grade list)
- Applicants who did not completed their bachelor’s yet the average grade of the current year until the date of application applies
- Description of financial position including a bank statement (that shows an amount sufficient for the living costs during your studies of 12 x €870) and an indication of the maximum amount that can be contributed by the prospective student and/or external sponsors.
