Scholarship details
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of scholarships for different specializations, courses, and fields has been significantly reduced, but the Université Paris-Saclay in France continues to promote various programs such as international support projects, one of them called IDEX Master. Its main objective is to financially support highly qualified students from anywhere in the world who wish to be part of it.
During each year, thousands of young people receive benefits from the Université Paris-Saclay in areas of study such as undergraduate, master’s, or postgraduate. The IDEX Master program covers the full-time master’s field from 1 (one) to 2 (two) years, it includes awards such as cost of living, airfare reimbursement, tuition fees, among others.

Conditions that must be met by participants:
- Be an international student who demonstrates a high academic level.
- Do not exceed 30 years at the time of submitting your formal registration.
- Apply for the full-time IDEX Master scholarship through the Université Paris-Saclay admission system.
- The interested party or student must not have lived on French soil for more than a year, otherwise, their offer will be rejected.
- It must not have been awarded any other scholarship.
- Have good health.
- Broad command of the English language. It is unknown if you must present a certificate that proves your level of that language.

Taiwan Scholarship for Ecuadorians, 2022
Scholarships for Ecuadorians who want to study for bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in Taiwan.

Who is this scholarship addressed to?
The Taiwan Scholarship scholarship for Ecuadorians is offered with the purpose of expanding the opportunities of access to a high-level education, the Taiwan Ministry of Education awards each year the “Taiwan Scholarship” (Taiwan Scholarship) with the aim of encouraging students Ecuadorians to carry out their undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies in Taiwan, promoting exchange and friendship between Taiwan and Ecuador.
The Taiwan Scholarship is a partial scholarship where the beneficiary is assigned a semester and monthly amount to cover expenses related to studies such as tuition, academic credits, and living expenses, therefore, any additional value that cannot be covered with these Items must be assumed by the beneficiary of the scholarship.
ABOUT THE ACADEMIC YEAR
The academic year in Taiwan regularly begins on September 1 and ends on August 31 of the following year. Scholars must arrive and register on the scheduled date, otherwise, they will lose the scholarship.
In exceptional cases, the university and the Ministry of Education must be notified in advance and justified, entities that will consider the appropriateness of granting a delayed registration permit.
The Taiwan Scholarship does not cover administrative expenses, thesis, supervision fees, insurance premiums, accommodation, Internet access, or the like.
The monthly allowance becomes effective after the first month of class attendance, so it is recommended that the scholarship recipient have a sum of money of at least USD 2,500 to cover the first expenses of their stay in Taiwan.
DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The maximum period of the Taiwan Scholarship is 4 years for bachelor’s degrees (undergraduates) and doctorates. 2 years for master’s degrees.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If the scholarship recipient decides to transfer their studies to another university after their first semester, the beginning semester at the new university will be considered as their second semester from their arrival in Taiwan, therefore, the scholarship recipient will not be entitled to claim the semester at the new university as if it were his “first semester”.
What benefits do the Taiwan Scholarships offer for Ecuadorians?

DETAILS OF THE ITEMS COVERED BY THE TAIWAN SCHOLARSHIP:
a. Coverage of up to NTD 40,000 each semester for tuition, payment of academic credits, and other items related to studies.
b. Any amount that exceeds NTD 40,000 will be the responsibility of the student, although there are universities that offer to help cover the excess.
c. Monthly allowance of NTD 15,000 for bachelor’s degrees (undergraduate), and NTD 20,000 for master’s and doctoral degrees, for general living expenses. (1 USD = 27.8 New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) approximately)
