Some of NMU’s degree programs that have received national or international recognition across the years have been business, education, design, nursing, English, and nursing. A unique aspect that recommends NMU is represented by the fact that it is the only university that offers 5 national Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science accredited programs in the US and one among other three nationwide universities that offer diagnostic molecular science and cytogenetics programs.
Even though NMU is accepting applications all year round, students are advised to gather all their application documents, receive their immigration documents (I-20) in the mail, and apply for their visa as it is a long process. To apply for an NMU scholarship, students do not need to fill additional documents; however, they need to apply for a specific program in order to be accepted at NMU. In order to apply for an undergraduate program, students need to consult the following link http://www.nmu.edu/internationalprograms/undergraduate-application-process. The application fee costs $35 and must be in US funds.
The list with all the undergrad degree programs can be found here: http://www.nmu.edu/programs?DegreeTypeCode=7
