Scholarship details
Staying true to its mission of bringing assistance to young adults in need, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults established the James and Patricia Sood Scholarship. James and Patricia Sood were dedicated teachers who both lived a life full of love as a couple and a courageous one as the couple battled cancer together. Until the end, the couple was dedicated mentors to those who shared the same passion for learning and reading.
The scholarship is open to young adults who are affected with cancer personally or through a direct loved one. In order to apply for the scholarship, the individual must only submit one general application to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.
In order to be eligible for tis specific scholarship however, the applicant must be a US citizen aged 15 to 39 years of age. The applicant must be attending a university or a college while pursuing a degree in Education.
