The student applicants must be seeking a higher education that is an accredited four-year university, college, technical or trade school.
The Diabetes Scholars Foundation’s college scholarship program recognizes students who have high academic performance, and they must be actively involved in the diabetes community, participate in community and those extra-curricular activities. They must have demonstrated that they are successfully managing the challenges and the struggles of living life with diabetes.
The recipients of the 2017 scholarships will be contacted no later than June 1, 2018. Those who are not selected will not receive any information or will not be notified. The checks containing the amount will be distributed directly to the school in July by the time that it is verified that the chosen applicant is accepted and registered to that accredited four-year university, college, technical or trade school.
