Scholarship details
Jill Weaver Starkman was one of the most accomplished horsewomen in the country and a loving mother of three. Although her life may have been taken by cancer, her legacy of compassion for others and greatness will forever be present through the Jill Weaver Starkman Scholarship. The scholarship was made possible through the generous efforts of the Ulman Cancer fund for Young Adults.
The scholarship amounts to $2500 and is open to young adults who have been affected by cancer directly. Selfless students who have sacrificed a lot for the cause of a family member affected by the illness are also open to apply for the scholarship.
The applicant must be a US citizen aged 15-39 years old. The applicant must also be attending a university or college on a 4-year course while having the experience in volunteering in any community service activities. To apply for the scholarship, a general application form must be filled out and submitted to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.
For more information regarding the scholarship, interested applicants may visit the page of the foundation. Aside from that, inquiries may also be sent through the official email address of the organization.
