Scholarship details
The Korean Advanced Institute of Science & Technology is offering eligible international undergraduate the opportunity to enroll for undergraduate degree program in South Korea with their KAIST International Undergraduate Scholarship. The institution is giving applicants the option of choosing to apply for either the spring semester or the fall semester.
KAIST is the short form of The Korean Advanced Institute of Science & Technology. This institution is a public research university that offers various degree programs.
Before 2008, it was officially named The Korean Advanced Institute of Science & Technology, and it has been bearing this name since the year 1980.
KAIST is the first South Korean Engineering and Science University and one of the many South Korean universities offering student grants to eligible high school graduates.
The Korean Institute of Science and Technology will waive off the tuition and fees of applicants who make it to the final list. This student grant will be awarded based on the KAIST Policies. So it is important that candidates look up their policies to see what it says about offering scholarships to international students.
There are different scholarship deadlines for this particular scholarship program as stated below:
- Early Application – From 1st September 2017 and closes 25th October 2017.
- Regular Application – From 1st November 2017 and closes 5th January 2018.
- Late Application – From 26th February 2018 and closes 29th June 2018.
Monthly allowances of up to $3,700 is awarded monthly to successful scholars of this student grant.
This scholarship is tailored for undergraduate degree programs only.
