Microsoft is committed to offering scholarships to those with backgrounds that may have been historically underrepresented in the technical field.

Recipients will be honored in recognition of their demonstrated passion for technology, academic excellence, and leadership as they work to advance the software industry. Recipients will receive a stipend of $1,200 USD for travel, hotel, and food.

How Much is Microsoft Conference Scholarship Worth?

  • Recipients receive a paid registration at one of the following diversity conferences:
    • Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing
    • National Society of Black Engineers Conference
    • Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Conference Tapia Conference
  • $1,200 USD travel, hotel, and meal stipend.
  • These funds are not transferable to other persons.

Diversity Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor‘s, master’s, or doctoral degree. program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico At the time of application submission.
  • The scholarship is open to students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.

Full-time students enrolled in a bachelor’s,  master’s, or Ph.D. Program in any of the following disciplines:

  • computer’s science
  • Informatics Engineering
  • Related STEM (Science,  Technology, Engineering, and  Mathematics) disciplines

This Diversity Conference Scholarship can be taken in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

Full-time students enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or  Doctor of a Philosophy degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States,  Canada, or Mexico.
