Scholarship details
The American Logistics Association ALA is a modern, best-practice trade association that has become the industry’s “first call” when navigating the military marketplace.
The military channel was made up of Military Commissars (grocery stores), exchanges (convenience stores, department stores, food concessions, gas stations, communications and electronics, wine, beer, and spirits, boat stores, tactical outlets),
Morale, welfare, and recreation sales and services (restaurants, daycare centers, gyms, libraries, car service), veterans dining service (retail outlets in hospitals and VA offices), constitute a business environment close to $20 billion in annual sales.
This market is global, world-class, and a world of opportunity. They have also found a way to give back to society and have done so by providing scholarships to military commanders.
The goal of each scholarship clearly shows what the providers of that scholarship support.
The Military Commander Scholarship focuses on students with special duties in the United States of America.
This scholarship is only open to students involved in some kind of force in the United States of America who want to continue their education.
The scholarship is classified and is not open to ordinary citizens.

The requirements for this scholarship fluctuate annually. Sometimes they put their conditions that high and other times they lower them a bit, depending on the number of applicants and the average analysis of those applicants.
Students can choose any accredited university to attend. Applicants must have a 3.5 grade point average and be a high school senior or graduate planning to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited for the first time college or university
Up to three awards are given each year for each branch of service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard).
Winning the scholarship depends on excellence. Many students have failed because they took it for granted and thought that since it is a military scholarship, its requirement would not be that difficult, but that is not really the case.
The New York Chapter of the American Logistics Association (ALA) offers the scholarship. ALA is a non-profit organization formed in 1920 for the sole purpose of representing the business interests of companies in the military channel. They are based in Washington, D.C.
